Dinas Dinlle is a small rural coastal hamlet in Gwynedd, situated centrally, it is within easy access to all North Wales’.
Located 7 miles from the historic town of Caernarfon and approx. 16 miles from both Bangor and Pwllheli, it is reached easily via the A499 and A487. The A55 coast road provides easy access to the UK’s wider motorway network.
The village of Dinas Dinlle is on the road to Caernarfon airport, where you can take pleasure flights around the Lleyn Peninsula, Snowdonia & the Castles of North Wales, or take flying lessons, or look around Air-world the aviation museum.
To the west the coastal footpath changes to a range of sand dunes part of 'Y Foryd' nature reserve, a tidal estuary, home to numerous birds, which leads to Fort Belan, built in the 18th Century, during the Napoleonic Wars.
The village is overlooked to the south by theIron-age hill fortificationfrom which the village gets its name. It is part of the Lleyn Peninsula coastal walk and a great view point!
The Blue Flag sandy beach, the wonderful walks, the glorious views and the peaceful atmosphere, makes it a wonderful location to escape from it all.

Dogs are not allowed on approx. 450m of beach between the fish groins in front of the promenade from May 1 to Oct 31. There is, however, 5km of beach due North and 3.7km of beach due south where dogs are allowed.
